The art of becoming, in any industry or capacity, takes time. The “10,000-Hour Rule” (as referenced by author Malcolm Gladwell in his book, Outliers) states that it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert. To have hard edges worn off and reveal the beauty of polished stone is a process.

As a father of three, Gary has gone through the art of living, understands what it takes, and creates home designs that reflect that polishing process. He is at his heart a right-brained artist who has learned the left-brained process of listening and analyzing to translate his client’s vision into a tangible reality. He’s able to retain the beauty of a structure while pairing it with the functionality needed for today’s modern family. Gary is a thinking artist.

Through his years of experience, he’s crafted and remodeled thousands of home plan designs. His process involves hearing what his clients have to say, and either designing from scratch or, in some cases, using a stock plan as a starting point and customizing from there to create a unique solution that matches their particular desires. Moving a wall here, shortening an overhang there—it all must make beautiful, practical, aesthetic sense. And when it comes to the purposeful, creative design, Gary is a seasoned veteran.
